Give Me A Hand – An Idiom
Does this idiom mean what I think it means?
In English we often use expressions that sound totally crazy. When we draw these idioms as pictures, they look even crazier. Often when I am really busy doing things like cooking, working on my car or doing wood-work I realize that I need help. I can’t reach my ingredients or my tools and need someone to pass me something or help me hold something. What do we say in these situations?
