From the time we are young we learn to stick up for ourselves. If you have an older brother, you probably stuck up for yourself when you were little and he bugged you. However ,if you have a younger brother, you might have stuck up for him when other people bugged him. In the same way, you probably have to stick up for yourself in other aspects of life now. You may stick for ideas at work. You may stick up for your friends if people criticize them and you may stick up to governments or oppressive organizations.
